Kaizen, Challenges and Internet - Feedback: @Video!
External success, whether personally or for your business begins with success on the inside. The easiest and most effective way to improve internally is through the practice of continuous, measured self-improvement. The Japanese call this constant and never-ending process of improvement Kaizen. The essence of the entrepreneurial spirit is based upon mental toughness and the courage to accept risk. Without a healthy willingness to take on risk, none of us would have pursued this entrepreneurial path. The part I suggest we concentrate on is the mental toughness that comes from the willingness to slug it out day after day in the trenches, making incremental progress. That type of progress is not sexy and many times it isn’t fun, but it is crucial for laying the foundation for success and for taking that risk when an opportunity presents itself for greater rates of growth.
Join the entrepreneur movement. Stimulate the economy. Spread the word. We want people to see and share this video and feel one of two things. Either they are inspired to go out and do something they felt they couldn't do before, to create the job they've always wanted and go out and start that for themselves; or, they're reminded of why they're doing what they do every day. There are a lot of challenges, a lot of ups and downs, and sometimes it's just nice to remember what the larger impact is. On what entrepreneurs should remember during these difficult times: Just go out there and do it. There are a lot of people saying no, saying it can't be done and it's a bad time in the economy. There are a lot of no's around. People don't go out there and do what they want because they're scared.
History of the internet is an animated documentary explaining the inventions from time-sharing to filesharing, from Arpanet to Internet. The history is told using the PICOL icons on picol.org , which are available for download soon. On blog.picol.org you can get news about this project.
