Success and Motivation, Smiling Kids and Really Connect! - Interact: @Sports!
It doesn’t matter where you live. It doesn’t matter how you live. It doesn’t matter what kind of car you drive. Your biggest enemies are your bills. The more you owe, the more you stress. The more you stress over bills, the more difficult it is to focus on your goals. The cheaper you can live, the greater your options. Remember that. No matter what happens, every morning, the minute after you wipe away the crust from your eyes, remind yourself that you are going to enjoy every minute of the day. You are going to enjoy the 20 interviews you have. You are going to enjoy realizing how frayed your collar is becoming and how sick you are of your one tie. Each and every experience will serve as motivation and provide great memories when you finally make it all happen. Its your success and motivation. What are you going to do?
Almost immediately after the sound of the starting whistle, kids began puling out an assortment of panfish, bass and carp that were then registered with the judges and promptly released. Believe me, there were a lot of smiling kids, not to mention parents and grandparents on the club grounds that day! Not only were the kids treated to a day of fishing, thanks to donations from the club, its members and several local groups and businesses, but there were also snacks and music for all to enjoy. With today’s challenging economy it’s tough sometimes for families to find time to spend together enjoying life’s simple pleasures.
Too often we spend time with friends and family, or meet with colleagues, and we’re not really there with them. We talk to them but are distracted by devices. We are there, but our minds are on things we need to do. We listen, but we’re really thinking about ourselves and what we want to say. None of us are immune to this, but with conscious effort you can shut off the outside world and just be present with the person you’re with. It means we really connect with people rather than just meeting with them. Take a deep breath of fresh air, enjoy the serenity of water and greenery. Exercise outdoors when you can, or find other outdoor activities to enjoy such as nature walks, hiking, swimming, etc. Feel the sensations of water and wind and earth against your skin.
